Game introduction

Story premise

In Noctis City, where night never truly falls, drowsiness is a crime. Everyone has an AWAKE chip implanted in their body. When their drowsiness index exceeds the limit, Dreamcatchers arrive to harvest their souls. During a dreamcatching operation, lowly maintenance worker Ash Vale hears a voice that should not exist and awakens the demon hidden within him. Now wanted by the city, he must track down the organs and memories stolen from his body while confronting the competing demands of the demon Cain, former enforcers, and his companions. To reclaim himself, Ash will draw ever closer to the truth that keeps this city of perpetual daylight running.

Content overview

Demon City Without Night/NOCTIS CITY is a cyberpunk interactive cinematic game combining soul harvesting, demonic pacts, corporate conspiracies, and rebellion. Neon advertisements, stark white factories, and underground clinics form a city that refuses the night, where a tireless system constantly monitors everyone's fatigue and inclination to sleep. Players act through Ash Vale's eyes, recording or touching souls at dreamcatching sites, accepting or rejecting demonic power when surrounded by attackers, and following anomalous coordinates to investigate his body and origins. Interactions with Dex, Juno, Eva, Mara, Nora, and other characters will shape allegiances and relationships during missions. Faced with his original organs, the Dream Reservoir, and the city's established order, players must choose between survival, revolution, truth, and selfhood. The game features multiple interactive decision points and branching paths. Choices will alter characters' fates, Ash's relationship with Cain, and the path he takes when finally confronting the city's core. The story draws players into a dark fable about identity, freedom, and what it means to "become human."

Contains depictions of soul extraction, body modification, and organ transplantation.

Contains scenes of violence, pursuit, death, and harm inflicted by demons.

Contains oppression, exploitation, and the systematic sacrifice of marginalized groups.

Contains artificial heart failure, intrusion into consciousness, and the dissolution of identity.

What Is an Interactive Film Game? A Complete Guide from Watching a Story to Changing It

How to Design Save Reloading, Chapter Selection, and Read-Content Skipping Without Disrupting the Story

Save reloading, chapter selection, and skipping previously viewed content are not add-on features; they determine how players understand the weight of their choices. Good design protects both the first playthrough and repeat exploration: it discourages consequence-free reversals on the first run and reduces repeat viewing after completion. Every jump must restore a complete state snapshot, rather than simply move the playhead to a video segment.

Why Does Bulin 47 AI Video Invite Participation? What Lead Replacement Teaches Interactive Storytelling

Bulin 47 AI Video works as more than a face replacement. A familiar scene, one-photo entry, and instantly visible contrast let viewers imagine themselves inside the performance. This article separates that light participation loop from consequential interactive storytelling.

What Scripts Are Easier to Produce with AI Video: Write for Generation and Filming Constraints First

Neither AI video nor low-budget live-action filming can turn any script into a consistently reliable finished work at low cost. A more reliable approach is to control, during writing, the number of characters on screen together, continuity across extended actions, scene changes, prop interactions, and shot length, and convert content that is difficult to produce reliably into sound, interfaces, text nodes, or reusable reaction shots.
