Park Do-yun

Civil Service Exam Candidate

“Room 404, the room that bears your failures. Open that door, and all your pain returns.”

Park Do-yun (28) is a gosiwon resident preparing for the civil service exam for the third year. He was the first to discover Room 404 and the first to push his memories of failure through its door. On the surface, he seeks the room's resident to escape the memory exchange, but what he truly wants is to acknowledge that a single exam does not determine the value of a life. He has exploited the room's rule of bearing others' failures, but he does not yet know the cost. With the player, he forms a cooperative relationship built on information asymmetry and mutual need.
