Zhou Yu'an

Master's Graduate and Lab Records Administrator

“Names can be changed, but records don't lie.”

Zhou Yu'an, 25, is a master's graduate of the fictional Linjiang Institute of Technology and now works there as a lab records administrator. She contributed to a catalysis materials paper led by her supervisor, handling the raw data. Before submission, the system removed a senior colleague who had already left from the author list. Her stated goal is to restore the true authorship and defend her thesis smoothly; her deeper need is to learn to put fairness before her supervisor's approval. Her secret: she took key raw data back to her dorm in violation of rules, so if the contribution chain is investigated, her own procedural breach will be exposed. She and the player form a mutually dependent but information-asymmetric partnership over the 'third author' incident. Independent and cautious, she holds her own bottom line in research and will refuse any overstepping request. Her arc is from obeying rules to rebuilding a verifiable process.
