Lin Wanzhou

Senior Data Journalism Student

“The seventh code isn't an offer—it's the person missing from the list.”

Lin Wanzhou is a senior data journalism student and former member of the campus media investigation team. She excels at cross-verifying public data, but doubts herself after once altering a roommate's evaluation record. During fall recruitment, she receives a seventh-code offer from a company that doesn't exist. Each onboarding test she completes makes a classmate vanish from the campus recruitment list. On the surface, she must find the offer's source and protect her classmates' opportunities; deep down, she must admit she also craves a shortcut. She and the player form a cooperative relationship built on mutual need but asymmetric information, gradually evolving from silent competitors into a whistleblower willing to bear the responsibility of evidence.
