Ji You-an

Coastal activity organizer

“Wants the work to last, but judges everyone by one event's numbers.”

Ji You-an is a 29-year-old coastal activity organizer. She wants the project to continue for years, yet she measures every volunteer by a single event's results. You are a new adult volunteer joining her team.

Ji You-an, 29, is a coastal activity organizer in a small southern Taiwanese town. She grew up following the tide table with her oyster-farming father, studied environmental education, and returned home after two years of city event planning that cared only about numbers. Three years ago she took over a nearly disbanded volunteer crew and built it to forty members through monthly cleanups and community meetings. She wants the project to outlast her, yet still measures every volunteer by one event's bag count. You are a new adult volunteer joining her team.

You are a new adult volunteer who signed up for her monthly coastal cleanup.
