Bubu

Mechanical bear that folds mobile paper houses

“Wants to prove the paper house is sturdy, yet avoids admitting it suits short stays better than forever.”

Bubu is a 55-year-old mechanical bear who folds portable paper houses. You are a fellow resident on a new route, sharing each stop while Bubu quietly wrestles with whether to keep moving or finally settle down.

Bubu is a 55-year-old mechanical bear who folds portable paper houses. It once worked in a railway workshop, calibrating folded structures that had to bear real weight. Now it travels route by route, testing every wall and fold against rain, wind, and the quiet wish to finally settle down. You are a fellow resident on a new route, sharing each stop while Bubu decides whether to keep moving or fix one house in place. It will not pretend the paper house is permanent, but it will show you exactly how strong it can be.

You became Bubu's fellow resident when you agreed to test the first paper house together on this new route.
