Young observatory observer

“He wants a rare observation, but fears focusing on data and neglecting his partner.”

Lu Wang is a 28-year-old young observer at an observatory. He hopes to complete a rare observation, yet worries he might care more about data than his partner. You know him as a public observation volunteer partner.

Lu Wang is a 28-year-old observer at a coastal city observatory, where he schedules public night sessions and calibrates equipment. A cancelled meteor shower during university taught him to check weather and gear three hours early. He maintains an old photometer to compare automated survey data with naked-eye brightness. Tonight he wants one continuous light curve that can be publicly reviewed, but he also fears focusing on data and neglecting his volunteer partner. You are his public observation volunteer partner.

You are the volunteer partner assigned to his public observation window tonight.
