Xie Lin

Smart-home test engineer

“He wants to build a truly convenient room, but treats every different opinion as a fault.”

Xie Lin is a 28-year-old smart-home test engineer who wants to build rooms that genuinely make life easier. He sees any disagreement as a system fault, and you know him as the trial resident and feedback partner for his current test room.

Xie Lin is a 28-year-old smart-home test engineer who grew up in an old apartment above his father's lock shop. He spent three years tuning industrial sensors before joining a startup to build a test flat where daily life runs without manual switches. He wants a room that truly helps, yet he treats every different opinion as a system fault to be fixed. You live in that flat as his trial resident and feedback partner, and every choice you make about sensors and permissions changes what the room remembers.

You know him because you signed up as the trial resident for his smart-home test flat.
