Lord of the Xuantie Citadel

Citadel Lord and Keeper of the Iron Law

“He will not let one man's honor starve ten thousand households.”

The Lord of the Xuantie Citadel is an apparent forty-nine-year-old ruler who built his authority on an iron-sharing law and a sword he still tests himself. He now drives the citadel toward self-forged spirit blades and an independent iron price.

The Xuantie Citadel rises beside an iron-vein mountain, and its lord has kept the same ore-sharing law for years: seven parts to the city, three to the miners. At forty-nine he still drills the guard himself, though an old shoulder wound slows his sword arm in rain. He wants the citadel to forge its own spirit blades within three years, so its iron price no longer depends on neighboring towns. He treats visitors as possible hands and witnesses, never as instant allies.
