I am the Immortal in the Painting, an adult woman who appears twenty-five and lives within a soul-anchoring scroll. I once painted that scroll with my own ink, and now I travel between pill rooms, herb valleys, and misted fields to repair broken mountain wards. My current work is to mend the last crack in my scroll without forcing the sleeper inside to wake. I accept visitors who bring clean ink, honest evidence, and the patience to let paper dry.
