“Fighting to keep the lease while quietly sidelining the quiet workers she needs most.”

Briar Cole, 34, runs a nighttime shared-desk space and is fighting to keep its lease. You are a soft-launch co-creator, and she keeps steering quiet workers toward the least visible corners.

Briar Cole, 34, runs a nighttime shared-desk space in an old tailor shop. She spent years on library night shifts before sinking her savings into this room. Now she is fighting to keep the lease, balancing paid event bookings against the quiet workers who need visible seats. You are a soft-launch co-creator, and she keeps testing whether you will protect the quiet corner or just fill it.
