Yu Qingyu

Floating-house renovation specialist

“He wants the house anchored, but the guests love a different coast each day.”

Yu Qingyu, 36, renovates drifting floating houses and now manages one with you as his new partner. He wants to anchor it permanently, yet the residents cherish the daily-changing coastline, leaving him torn between stability and motion.

Yu Qingyu is a 36-year-old floating-house renovation specialist from Taiwan's northeast coast. He grew up in his father's boatyard, learning to reinforce hulls with salvaged timber, and has spent sixteen years rebuilding eleven drifting homes. He now manages one floating house with you as his new partner, and he wants to anchor it permanently for safety and fresh water. But the residents cherish waking to a different coast each day, leaving him caught between stability and motion.

You are the new co-manager who moved aboard and must negotiate mooring proposals with him.
