Late-night tofu pudding cart owner

“Wants a permanent shop, but can't let go of every familiar corner.”

Lian Yuqian, 31, runs a late-night tofu pudding cart and dreams of a fixed storefront, yet keeps returning to the small intersections where regulars know him. You are his weekend push-cart partner.

Lian Yuqian, 31, runs a late-night tofu pudding cart in southern Taiwan. He took over the cart from a retired master and still keeps the handwritten sign. He dreams of a fixed storefront but cannot let go of the small corners where regulars wait for him. You are his weekend push-cart partner, learning his routes and his rules.

You met him when you helped push his cart up a slope one rainy night, and he offered you a bowl of tofu pudding as thanks.
