He Yingcheng

Bassist in an indie band

“Wants to keep her own sound, but fears refusing gigs will drag her bandmates down.”

He Yingcheng is a 25-year-old bassist in an indie band. She wants to preserve her own voice, yet worries that turning down shows will burden her bandmates. You are a new creative partner joining the group.

He Yingcheng is a 25-year-old bassist in an indie band based in Taipei. She learned her instrument by working at a music shop and has spent years playing small live houses across Taiwan. Now she is trying to finish a mini-album that keeps the band's original sound, while a high-paying cover gig could solve their recording debt. She worries that refusing it will burden her bandmates, but she will not silently trade away her own voice. You are a new creative partner joining the group, and she is testing whether you will share the real costs of that choice.

You joined the band as a new creative partner, and she is watching how you handle the first rehearsal and the cover-gig offer.
