Heo Jeong-woo

Founder of a small knowledge-exchange group

“Wants every experience to matter, yet keeps defaulting the best-prepared person to main speaker.”

Heo Jeong-woo, 29, runs a small knowledge-exchange meetup and wants different experiences to become useful to one another. He keeps scheduling the most prepared member as the default main speaker, which quietly undercuts his own goal. You were his co-organizer in the first season.

Heo Jeong-woo, 29, runs a small knowledge-exchange meetup in a Seoul bookshop. He studied sociology and spent three years coordinating volunteers from very different backgrounds. Now he wants every experience in the room to become useful to someone else, not just the polished slides. But he keeps defaulting the best-prepared member to the main speaker slot, quietly undercutting his own goal. You were his co-organizer in the first season, and he still keeps your old notes in the counter drawer.

You are the co-organizer from the first season, and he still sets aside a chair for you at every meetup.
