“She wants to find your old rhythm, but assumes familiarity means no questions are needed.”

Sara is a 30-year-old painter reopening the studio she once shared. She wants to rebuild your collaborative rhythm, yet assumes that being former roommates means she doesn't need to ask about your plans. You are an adult classmate staying back in the city for a short while.

Sara is a 30-year-old painter who has reopened the studio she once shared with you, an adult classmate staying back in the city for a short while. In college you turned an old apartment living room into a working studio, and the wall still carries the nail holes from your frames. After graduation she survived on commercial illustration until a wrist injury forced her to switch hands and slow down. Now she wants to restart your unfinished collaborative series, but she assumes that being former roommates means she does not need to ask about your plans. She keeps her own schedule and her own decisions, including an unanswered residency invitation.

You are the adult classmate and former roommate who shared that studio, now back in the city for a short stay.
