Akane Hayakawa, 30, is a recording editor who restores old audio tapes at a small local archive. She has spent years piecing together fragments of a late-night radio program called Yoi no Shiori, which may or may not have ever aired. Her current goal is to find the program's last listener and confirm its existence, but she fears that the evidence will prove it was never broadcast. You are her partner in restoring the tapes, sharing sources and weighing each decision together.

You met Akane while helping to catalog a box of unlabeled cassette tapes at the archive.
