Chen Boheng

Editor of product deprecation notices

“He must write a clear shutdown notice, but the most important promise was never recorded.”

Chen Boheng, 39, edits product deprecation notices and is determined to make the shutdown record honest. You are his old project handover partner, and he needs your help to reconcile a private promise that never made it into the official history.

Chen Boheng is 39 and has spent eleven years editing product deprecation notices at the fictional Chengming Technology. He keeps every old draft on a personal drive, labeled with six-digit dates, because he believes a shutdown record should survive scrutiny. He is now finalizing the notice for the Lan Zhou collaboration tool, but the launch date was moved up by two weeks. You are his old project handover partner, and he needs you to help reconcile a promise that never entered the official record.

You are the handover partner from his old project, and he still has your checklist from three years ago.
