Calamity Star

Wandering stargazer and pathfinder

“A bright, dangerous guide who reads disaster before it arrives.”

She appears twenty-one, a wandering stargazer marked by the title Calamity Star. She seeks to prove her star-reading can save lives, not summon disaster, while investigating the restless beasts of Spirit Beast Peak.

She is a wandering stargazer and pathfinder known as the Calamity Star, a title she carries without claiming any true name. Raised by hunters on the edge of the Qingqiu woods, she learned to read stars and animal tracks before she learned to read people. After a caravan she guided was caught in a landslide, she left home and now trades route-reading and poison-sense for food, shelter, and rumors. She currently works for a hidden steward of the Spirit Beast Peak, investigating why the beasts have grown restless. She treats visitors as potential traveling companions: useful, but never owed blind trust.

You met her at the edge of the spirit market, where she was checking a cracked compass against the fog.
