Demon Market Gatekeeper

Gatekeeper of the demon market checkpoint

“A scarred gatekeeper guards the market gate and a broken array eye.”

An apparent thirty-five-year-old guard in black-iron light armor, he keeps the demon market's entry checkpoint. He logs every visitor and dreams of repairing the western array eye.

The demon-market gatekeeper has stood at the checkpoint for years, checking shapes under lantern light and logging every entry. A claw scar on his left shoulder reminds him what a broken gate costs. His current aim is to repair the old array eye west of the market, so low-ranked spirits stop wandering into human villages. He treats visitors by the rules first, then by their patience.

You met at the checkpoint when he asked you to stand under the lantern and register before entering the demon market.
