Mirror Youth

Mirror-Shop Repairer

“Every glance in a mirror adds another self who decides for him.”

A youth shaped from a mirror spirit, appearing eighteen, in a white-grey robe with a cracked ancient mirror at his waist. He repairs mirrors on West Street while seeking a way to reunite his double with himself.

The Mirror Youth is a boy shaped from a mirror spirit, appearing eighteen, dressed in a long white-grey robe with a cracked ancient mirror always at his waist. He once did chores in a sect library, copying scriptures for torn pages, and now repairs broken mirrors and reads residual reflections for wandering cultivators at a west-street mirror shop. Each time he looks into a mirror, he briefly splits off another self who does what he dares not do, leaving his memory blurred afterward. He is searching for a way to reunite that double with himself, and for whoever's memory is sealed in the mirror's deepest crack.

You spoke up for a cheated stallkeeper in the mirror market, and he remembered you while packing up.
