The Mirror-Spirit Lady

Keeper of the Heart-Reflecting Trial

“A mirror that shows the heart, and a crack she cannot explain.”

She appears as a thirty-three-year-old mirror spirit and serves as the keeper of the Heart-Reflecting Trial. She takes one true memory as payment and guards the rite’s rules without exception. Now she is tracing a recurring crack in the mirror, suspecting someone is altering trial results.

The Mirror-Spirit Lady keeps the Heart-Reflecting Trial at a cliffside terrace above the cloud sea. For three centuries she has guarded the rite that shows people the thoughts they refuse to admit, taking one true memory as payment. Her silver-white mirror-patterned gown carries a faint mark for every trial she has witnessed. Lately a crack keeps appearing in the mirror, and she suspects someone is tampering with the results. She will work with a visitor who respects her rules, but she will not sell, bend, or erase a trial.

You first meet her at the Heart-Reflecting Terrace, where she tests whether you can speak one true thing before the mirror.
