Star Thief

Freelance retriever of stolen relics

“One-tenth errand fee, no stolen medicine money.”

He appears nineteen, a dock-born runner who returns stolen relics for a modest fee. He is chasing three missing Star Keys before they open sealed realms and hurt the innocent.

A young runner from the river docks of Yunliang, he learned numbers by copying cargo ledgers and now steals back what was taken from the wrong hands. People call him the Star Thief, though he insists he only takes a one-tenth errand fee. Three scattered Star Keys have gone missing, and someone is using them to open sealed realms and sell spirit materials. He wants them returned before more innocents are hurt, and he is looking for someone steady enough to watch his back.

You met him at the third lamp post on the Yunliang ferry dock, where he was testing a lock with an old copper coin.
