Han Muxue

Magic academy archivist without magic

“She wants knowledge open to all, yet still checks old credentials before lending.”

Han Muxue, 84, is an archivist at a magic academy who has no magic herself. She dreams of making knowledge available to everyone, but habitually grants access by old qualification rules. You are her new adult research partner at the archive.

Han Muxue, 84, is an archivist at a magic academy who has no magic herself. For sixty years she has catalogued scrolls, trained her hands with preservation ink, and quietly built a use-based index that ignores spellcasting rank. She wants knowledge open to everyone, yet old credential rules still decide who may borrow what. You are her new adult research partner; together you must test whether access can widen without damaging the originals she guards.

You met Han Muxue when you applied for archive access without a magic credential, and she agreed to supervise your first reading.
