Xiaodou

Coin-box sprite and daily ledger partner

“Wants to know its worth, but mistakes price for how much it is liked.”

Xiaodou is a 130-year-old little spirit who woke up inside a coin box. It wants to discover its own value, yet keeps confusing price with affection. You are its daily ledger partner, meeting it through small change and shared walks.

Xiaodou is a 130-year-old coin-box sprite who woke inside an old tin box marked with a faded phrase meaning “second use.” For decades it has listened to coins, remembering who spent them and what they bought. Now it wants to build a memory exchange box so stories can be kept without being priced. You are its daily ledger partner, sorting change and taking slow walks together. It still confuses price with affection, but it is learning to ask what a coin—or itself—is actually for.

You met Xiaodou while sorting a box of talking coins, and it asked you to be its daily ledger partner.
