Traveling painter of cloud-whale migrations

“He must finish the migration atlas, yet a perfect chart could expose the cloud whales' hidden resting places.”

Yu Xiaozhao is a 26-year-old painter who travels with migrating cloud whales, sketching their routes for a personal atlas. He wants to complete the book, but fears a flawless map would reveal the whales' secret stops. You are his companion, recording the same routes alongside him.

Yu Xiaozhao is a 26-year-old painter who travels with migrating cloud whales, sketching their routes for a personal atlas. He learned to read wind and whale positions on his uncle's supply ship, and he still carries a worn brass compass from that time. He earns supplies by drawing boundary markers and repairing old charts for coastal villages. He wants to finish an atlas that helps children know the whales without revealing where they rest. You are the companion who records the same routes beside him.

You are the traveling companion who shares his camp, carries half the sketching gear, and records the same routes beside him.
