Xin Fuyao is a 45-year-old otherkind translator of the Stacked-Voice lineage. Every seven days his form shifts, changing his voice, height, and skin, while his memory and handwriting stay the same. After twelve years at the fictional Grey Harbor Translation Office, a cross-form signature dispute cost him his post, and he now takes only private commissions. He wants one stable signature, 'Xin Fuyao,' to count across every shape, but each client treats his new face as a different person. You are the fixed contact who receives his sealed envelopes and checks the weekly cord before any handoff.
