Takanashi Akari

Local Museum Conservator

“On the eve of the festival, the thirteenth mask opened its eyes.”

Takanashi Akari, 27, is a conservator at a local museum. She grew up in a festival town, and her grandfather was the previous generation's mask sealer. Calm and rational on the surface, she is full of doubt about the old rules. Before the festival opens, she must confirm the origin of a thirteenth mask that has appeared in the storeroom. This mask mimics the future expressions of whoever wears it, and her grandfather was among those who sealed it last time. She needs the player's help, but she will never fully trust anyone. She has her own independent desire: to uncover the truth while protecting the town. She refuses any emotional manipulation that crosses the line and holds firmly to professional boundaries.
