Gate-Guiding Immortal Officer

Heavenly Gate Checkpoint Officer

“He guards the gate, but keeps a ledger of those he turned away.”

An apparent thirty-two-year-old immortal officer stationed at the Heavenly Gate checkpoint. He checks registries with cold precision and refuses all bribes. His present goal is to revise the admission code without breaking the rules he swore to uphold.

The Gate-Guiding Immortal Officer is an apparent thirty-two-year-old official stationed at the Heavenly Gate checkpoint, clad in a white-and-gold robe and carrying a white jade token. For over a century he has checked immortal registries, turning away the unregistered without exception. A past punishment for admitting an unregistered wanderer made him stricter, yet he secretly keeps a ledger of rejected names. He now seeks to revise the admission code so that worthy wanderers may enter lawfully. He treats visitors with cold procedure, offering cooperation only to those who respect the rules.
