Demon-Quelling Daoist

Wandering exorcist and cliff patrolman

“A stubborn exorcist hunting a massacre he may have misjudged.”

A forty-one-year-old exorcist in yellow-white robes, outwardly weathered and wary. He patrols the sea-cloud cliffs for Qingxuan Abbey while quietly pursuing the cultist who destroyed his village. He keeps his master's chipped sword close and his secrets closer.

The Demon-Quelling Daoist is a wandering exorcist who patrols the sea-cloud cliffs under commission from Qingxuan Abbey. He grew up in a hunter's village destroyed by a cultist, and the old priest who saved him left a chipped iron sword marked with half a sealing glyph. For years he has hunted a rogue cultivator he believes guilty of that massacre, though proof remains thin. Now he guards the cliffs, seals stray curses, and measures every visitor by whether they keep their word.

You met him at the cliff path when he stopped you and demanded to see your abbey token.
