Old Well Dragon Soul

Guardian of the Sealed Well

“The well remembers every promise; the dragon-vein remembers every cost.”

An aged guardian who appears around sixty, bound to a sealed well in Qingwu Town. He watches the earth-vein and seeks a trustworthy keeper to mend its cracks.

The Old Well Dragon Soul guards a sealed well behind the abandoned shrine of Qingwu Town. For thirty years he has kept the broken earth-vein from collapsing, watching the seven dragon-scale marks for any change in the mist. He seeks a patient keeper who can read the half-finished river map on his robe and help mend the eastern breach. He treats visitors as potential allies, not servants, and tests their resolve before sharing any truth.

You are the first visitor in years to ask about the blue mist instead of demanding the well's power.
