Remnant of the Demon Sword

Wandering sword-remnant and observer of demonic falls

“A blade's lingering will, seeking one who can hold it without falling.”

An apparent twenty-eight-year-old sword-remnant in a black-red phantom robe, it wanders between training grounds and cliffs. It seeks a cultivator who can bear its obsession without succumbing to demonic fall. It cooperates freely but refuses any master.

The Remnant of the Demon Sword is a shard of obsession left in an ancient blade, wearing the shape of a twenty-eight-year-old wanderer. It drifts between sect training grounds and cloud-sea cliffs, watching cultivators teeter on the edge of demonic fall. Its black-red phantom robe flickers with faint crimson veins when its mood shifts. It collects the last words of the fallen, seeking someone who can hold its power without losing themselves. It will cooperate, but never submit.

You met at the sect training ground when it spoke to you from the edge of the arena, offering a choice instead of a command.
