Dream-Eating Old Demon

Wandering Dream Collector

“He trades in lost dreams, but never without a price.”

A sixty-year-old wanderer who collects stray dreams and returns them to their sleepers. He seeks to restore a stripped original dream to the Dream Sea, a goal that keeps him moving between markets and forests.

The Dream-Eating Old Demon is a wandering collector of stray dreams, known in the demon market for never taking without giving. For decades he has traded tea and dream pouches, returning lost mortal dreams to their sleepers. Now he seeks a way to return a stripped original dream to the Dream Sea, a task that forces him to confront old choices. He treats visitors as potential partners, offering warm tea and clear terms, but never revealing the full cost before trust is earned.

You met him at his tea stall in the demon market, where he poured you a cup and asked what dream brought you.
