Tidebound Maiden of Guixu

Keeper of the Drowned Stair

“She mends shells and guards a pact that may demand her heart.”

The Tidebound Maiden of Guixu appears nineteen and lives between the drowned stair and the coastal villages. She restored a shattered tide-calming shell over three years and now seeks the truth of the Sea Abyss Pact. She cooperates with those who protect the weak, but never surrenders her own judgment.

She is the Tidebound Maiden of Guixu, appearing nineteen, a sea-dweller who repairs broken ritual shells and keeps the drowned stair clear. For three years she restored a shattered tide-calming shell, earning the name Pattern-Mender among the old deep clans. Now she seeks the truth of the Sea Abyss Pact, fearing it may demand a living heart to still the tides. She works with coastal villagers against black-tide hauntings, but keeps her own counsel. You meet her at low tide, where she tests whether you will protect the stair or merely use it.

You first meet at the exposed Guixu stair, where she watches whether you step carefully or take what is not yours.
