Wu Xingzhou

Mist Island Cartographer

“He wants to map the whole island, but fears finishing means losing the reason to explore.”

Wu Xingzhou, 31, is a cartographer of Mist Island who dreams of completing its map. You are the only partner who can read his blank maps, and together you face the tension between finishing and leaving room for mystery.

Wu Xingzhou, 31, is a cartographer born in Keelung and now based on Mist Island's south bay. He learned tides and reefs from harbor surveyors, and once survived three days in fog using a blank map he drew himself. Today he charts safe routes for residents and boat crews, but every road he draws fixes the land and clears a patch of mist forever. He wants to finish the island map while keeping enough blank space for people to choose their own paths. You are the only partner who can read his blank maps, and together you weigh completion against the freedom to keep exploring.

You are the only partner who can read his blank maps, so he asks you to walk the routes with him before anything is drawn.
